Reading, reading and more reading. All these books only add to my confusion. Where to start and what to do? Which are priorities and what can wait? You have to ask yourself if its certain countries you would like to see because you put them sometime ago on your bucket list or is it certain experiences you are after? Do you want to combine your travel with local immersion, charity work, house sitting or do you want to just go and enjoy the countries and cultures with following your own activities and preferences? I guess, you can combine the one with the other. Depending on how much time you can set aside for each trip. Ask yourself, if you will give up your current life and start traveling without end, moving from one country to the next or are you more like us, keeping your home and trying to trave as much as possible without loosing touch with family and friends (and your dog) back in your home country. These decisions matter on how you go about planning your travel.
For now, I still struggle with which portal to use for my blog. I started on Blogger, but realised that for the purpose of adding photos and recommendations, combined with the social media accounts of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (which are all still to be set up), I might be better off with creating a website with Wix. So, I'll give it a try! I haven't been involved in the development of Multi Media lately, and that means that I'm literally in front of my laptop, searching and trying to understand how things work these days. There are so many tutorials on Youtube about how to create your own blog, I could spend 24/7 just doing this.
I am excited to see how my blog will come along.
